Looks like Kbin is running a pretty huge federation backlog, as it's taking several hours for comments to federate out. I'm not knowledgeable about how these servers work, but is it teetering on collapsing or something?
There's a warning at the top, but I'm curious as to the "why". The comments that may or may not be visible seem to be a roll of the dice as well. If I respond to someone in a comment, I have no idea if they can see it.
You have no doubt noticed that federation is breaking again. I am painfully aware of it. The issue is with the symphony queue runner that processes incoming messages from other instances. Occasionally, the server receives a message that causes the queue runner to die. I have to manually remove the offending message out of...
I just noticed today that old.startrek.website isn’t loading properly. The fact that zero people have said anything to the admins makes me wonder if anyone’s using it at all. So speak up if you are! I will be happy to fix it for you, but otherwise may just uninstall....
