yup one of those mental blindness things I think. Even after you said I could not find it and then did a control f and low and behold its like right there. don't know how I did not see it. even has a mail icon.
Do note that you can't currently message users on other instances from kbin. The button will still be there, but it will bring you back to the homepage. I believe Ernest said something about it being "unimplemented," so I'm assuming cross-instance messaging will happen someday, but is probably not a high priority at the moment.
You could make a (private) collection for your subscribed magazines. Not exactly the feature you were asking for, but it's an option to curate your feed. On Firefox I have various collections bookmarked and tagged so accessibility is seamless.
It may have something to do with the bug mentioned here:
The improved collapsible comments add-on, part of the original KES collection in version 1.0.0, has some conflicts with kbin's own implementation of collapsible comments. I am cleaning this up, but it may take some time
@Ernest is the process for approving an ownership request done manually by you? I requested ownership of a magazine a few weeks ago and it hasn't gone through. I know you've been busy with running/improving the site so it might be worth making the process either automatic or give permission to someone you trust to approve/deny. Hope you are having a good one!
Thanks very much for this. I've been hoping that raltsm4k updates Floating Subs List to incorporate collections, but they haven't been active since mid-last year.
Given your code is partly based on this script, I wonder if you might consider modifyingraltsm4k's Floating Subs List script so that collections appear as part of the sidebar. As a fallback, maybe modify your script so that collections appear before magazines rather than after. This would make it easier to use both scripts, one to access magazines in the sidebar, and the other to more easily access liked collections.
It depends on what the remote server does with the federated delete command. You should generally assume that anything you post to the fediverse is permanent.
@ernest I really hope you resolve these issues asap, Kbin is already struggling an already small userbase and lack of engagement, these errors not allowing people to even access Kbin is really going to hurt, especially if these errors keep happening for so long.
