This update includes listing the user setting on the General tab.
This magazine is from a federated server and may be incomplete. Browse more on the original instance.

With Twitter and Reddit the way that they are, many people are turning to federated servers as their online home, kbin among them....
I got this when trying to report https://kbin.social/m/RedditMigration/t/364640/Trendy-Reaction-Videos and also separately got the same when trying to report https://kbin.social/m/RedditMigration/t/364628/Home
I recently created an account on a new kbin instance. Is there an easy way to migrate my account to that new instance? I feel like this should be easy to find. As such I suspect that such doesn't exist yet, or I'm an idiot. Both are equally possible.
I recently stood up a kbin instance using the Docker guide for testing purposes. I can see the KBin UI, log in with my admin user, create magazines and threads....
I haven't been able to find an answer for this, so I'm hoping asking this here would be appropriate....
I think you should see something....
EDIT: thanks to @Destragras, who pointed out after I posted that kbin does have a raw RSS feed at the bottom of the page for your reader. Example:...
I dunno if you've noticed but federation between kbin and lemmy is shaky at best. By doing even a quick comparison between some original instances and their kbin pages, it is easy to see that comments and sometimes entire threads do not get synced and are practically invisible to the other side....
I know Artemis is out there and it looks cool, but it is only for kbin.camp. Is there anything that supports kbin.social?
Currently users you block can still see your posts, reply to those posts, and trigger notifications when they do reply....
I moderate @mcsuggestions, and today, I noticed that my comments on the two most recent threads didn't show up when I was logged in. After some experimentation, I figured out that whenever I had any domain blocked, all comments on those threads disappeared. From what I can tell in this magazine, others are experiencing the same...
I haven't used kbin much this past week, but over the last day or so I noticed I haven't seen the "login bug" happen anymore. I can leave a tab open and still come back later and upvote, boost or comment on posts without the page giving me an error and asking me to re-log in....
This user runs this magazine which is entirely dedicated to transphobia under the guise of anti-misogyny (usual TERF bullshit)....
Secure a place in history. Create the source material for hundreds of journalists, bloggers and shitposters writing about the downfall of reddit and the rise of the threadiverse. (also missing!)...
I've been looking for a usecase to see where the combination of Threads and Microblog was particularly useful, and with the news around the potential superconductor #LK99 I figured this would be an interesting test case. So I made a magazine on kbin.social for LK99, and added the hashtags to tags in settings....
I have a magazine thats following certain tags. I see they are coming into microblog. Is it possible to promote, or migrate a microblog to a thread?
Every time I try to upvote or boost something, there's a solid 20% chance it'll link to an Error page titled "Log in". That percentage seems to increase the longer I've had my Kbin tab open without refreshing it....
What does blocking on kbin actually do? I’m asking because it seems incomplete, to put it mildly. If you block someone, they can still see what you post and reply to you and you’re still sent notifications of their replies, even though you can’t see the comment itself (or any replies other people make to comments of an...
After some time missing an app, I managed to really like Kbin even on my browser, specially with some mods (my favourites are Kbin Usability Pack and Kbin Subscriptions Panel), but I really miss notifications for interactions on my posts and comments....
This is really annoying. Does anyone else have this problem?
@pollodiabolo - this user is a karma whore of epic proportions and they have made a shit load (10-15+) accounts on kbin that boost and upvote each other while sometimes mass downvoting others that have posts trending towards the top - all to farm karma....
I’m sure there are ways to do this on desktop, but in mobile, as far as I can tell, if I come across a nsfw community on my thread and I want to block I, I can’t do that without first clicking on the link to the community feed.
I noticed that a lot of the communities that are hosted on there only have posts from a week ago. Thought they were just a bit dead, but checked on their original instance and saw they're more lively than that it's just not showing up on Kbin.
I want to check out KBin, but it literally the whole 1st page, the top 25 posts, were all from Lemmy communities....
