I've just discovered that lemmy.world (and potentially other) users I've banned from my magazine are still able to comment, comments I can't see on kbin but that do show up on lemmy.world....
I tried messing around with other instances and all of their interfaces are terrible and confusing! I don’t think I could ever use anything other than kbin.
I want fediverse iceberg, I think this will be help found out and understand about fediverse more, this can be useful for normies...

For some reason I just can't block @196. For several month, on PC and on iPhone. I can block other communities, but not this one. It goes into page with saying that over next few days the infrastructure will be updated. I thought in a few days it would be resolved, but it is more than two month. Blocking any domain by going to something like "kbin.social/d/reddit.com" and blocking it seems to remove posts at random. The pinned post for the planned October outage is no longer visible.
Not sure where to report this exactly but media.kbin.social has an expired Let's Encrypt certificate (expired Tue, 03 Oct 2023 14:47:25 GMT) and this is causing problems loading various images across the site -- e.g. user avatars (sometimes), images copied from various Lemmy instances, and image threads made on kbin....
I've noticed that when I'm browsing microblogs on Kbin, I see very few favorites (upvotes) on posts even when there are tons when you look at them from Mastodon. kbin sounds a lot like kabin, or かびん／花瓶, which means vase in Japanese.
This appeared when attempting to view a Kbin image attachment from a federated instance....
I tried Jerboa briefly and couldn't get it to work well for me. Then I visited kbin on my phone's browser and was prompted to install the kbin app!? I haven't seen any references to it, but it's exactly what I wanted...? Has anybody else tried it?
/kbin is certainly not dying, as @fr0g pointed out, work on new features and bug fixes is ongoing. However, it may give the impression that it is, and for that, I take full responsibility and owe you an explanation....

Hi, I've kind of stopped using kbin, the reason being that every time I go on this website, it asks me to relog in, even though I've selected remember me last time that I did log in....
Just wanted to ask.
These past couple of days comments on kbin.social have only had a single level of nesting, making it really had to follow the flow of comments and replies. This happens consistently and universally.

Sometimes when I upload a link it doesn't load properly, it happens no big deal, but then I can't delete these buggy posts and then I end up unintentionally spamming a bunch of duplicates as I try to post again...
If anyone votes on an old comment from the source instance, your newly subscribed kbin instance will grab the older message when the new vote comes in. Works with both Lemmy and kbin sources....
