I learned about a new initiative working on standardizing event federation between WordPress and @mobilizon (and others like @gancio and https://gath.io) being lead by @linos and a group of folks working under the umbrella of https://event-federation.eu.

They got @NGIZero funding for the project! (https://nlnet.nl/project/WordPress-EventFederation)

Discovered thanks to the newest reporting by @fediversereport, who's doing great work shining light on stuff like!

Way more interesting and healthy fediverse news is happening in the shadows and is barely getting discussed! Which is: Discourse has federation between different instances of itself and other #fediverse software such as Mastodon working!
