ValueSubtracted, in TOTP 2FA Issues
@ValueSubtracted@startrek.website avatar

We’ve had 2FA disabled, because it wasn’t working properly at one point. This is a good prompt to look into getting it up and running again, so thanks for bringing it to our attention!

This has been on our todo list for a while, but turned into a harder nut to crack than I initially assumed. Thanks for the additional info. I’ll comment here and make a new post when this gets sorted.

EDIT: It’s sorted

ValueSubtracted, in Welcome to Lemmyvision! 🎙️

Since Lemmyvision is a homo sapiens only club, startrek.website will not be able to participate directly, and Spock’s rendition of “I’m the X” is sadly ineligible.

But this is pretty cool!

Qapla’! Thank you.

Rentlar, in I am extremely grateful to everybody involved with Lemmy. That includes you!

This is the best kind of cross post. Virtual hugs for everyone.

I always wondered why spacecraft couldn’t be wrapped in magnetic coils (with the pressurized volume like the center of a solenoid) to duplicate the effects of Earth’s magnetic field. Looks like it is possible but was not practical until recently.

Good read!

I was absolutely hoping for a sequel to that (in a series that has never done a sequel lol).

In Case You Haven't Seen the EpisodeI hope they answer the lingering question on whether Jimmy Simpson is still burning up in the plasma injectors without being able to die.

Oh my god I’m so glad this was announced. I was on the bridge set last week and it was an awesome moment for me!

Corgana,

No shit that’s awesome how’d you manage that?

Jaccident,

Total happenstance! One of their workshops is right next to mine, and I walked past one morning and spotted a prop I recognised. I poked my head round the door and asked if it was what I thought and between various people being astonished that I had recognised it, they told me they were just starting the build and how to take a little peek. It was only half finished but it was really really cool nonetheless!

exocrinous,

Amazing

MamboGator, in Jess Bush: Koons on the Moon? Artists’ crucial role in shaping humanity’s image on Earth and beyond

I love it when actors have a real passion for the subject matter they’re portraying. Tom Hanks was another one. After Apollo 13 and Saving Private Ryan he produced From the Earth to the Moon and Band of Brothers to expand on the subject matter.
