U.S., abortion rights group sues on behalf of women denied care in emergencies

The Center for Reproductive Rights on Tuesday filed legal actions in Tennessee, Idaho and Oklahoma on behalf of women who say they were denied abortion care in medical emergencies. The actions represent an escalation of the strategy the center used earlier this year in a Texas lawsuit arguing that exceptions to protect the life or health of the mother are unclear, jeopardizing the health of pregnant women.

Anti-choice = anti-God

These despicable "pro-life" scumbags don't know what they're messing with.

Quexotic,

There’s a counter argument to that, something that echos in my head when I think about the shit they do:

The cruelty is the point™

Anticorp,

Ya know, I’ve never thought about that before, but free will is a central theme throughout Christianity. It’s used to explain away all the evil in the world and the story of Adam himself. You could even say it’s a core fundamental belief of the religion.

Snorf,

Also, the ability to be “absolved” of all bad choices. You get to say sorry. As long as you do that before you die, then you’re all good.

If they really believed all of this, then the “would be child” is safe from damnation and the mother can say sorry.

I do not believe this and do not think a person should feel bad about taking necessary steps to protect their lives.
