Why don't kbin comments show up on lemmy servers? (kbin.social)
I can see posts with my other user name but none of the replies.

I've been using #Kbin for a while since reddit exodus, but it wasn't until like a week ago that I decided to create an account. It's been great, it is the best way for me to experience the #fediverse, I used mastodon and firefish before, but I think I like more the community format, and not losing the possibility to follow...
I started on kbin.social with this account, then moved out to kbin.cafe to try to avoid overloading the flagship instance and help out with decentralization. Then the admin went inactive, so I fled to kbin.run. This is active and I am satisfied, but it is also running Mbin, a fork of Kbin. I'd like to try regular Kbin again, but...
Not sure how long it's been there, but it's finally there. Nice QoL improvement.
While UI tweaks definitely aren't the top development priority as of now, the header currently feels a bit cluttered and unintuitive. When @ernest does get around to improving it, here are a few changes I suggest:...
Every single poster I've seen responding to articles on Lemmy and kbin from this site have been shitty, angry little pricks with regressive takes on everything. We need to block these trolls before they ruin engagement from well-reasoned humans.
I've been using Kbin for a few months now and I didn’t really feel the need to set my #feed to anything besides "Subscribed". I can guess from their names what the "All" and "Moderated" feed are but I have no idea what the #favorites feed does. I've seen that the recently added #collections also use the word "favorite" when...
title. i click the add photo button and it does nothing. i tried on both chrome and firefox. just me or?
I've thought the Magazines page has been messy for a while now, though with collections now also being on the same page (at least for the time being), it's starting to get very out of hand....
Right now, downvotes (reduces) don't federate to (and from?) Kbin instances. This lack of federation makes the downvote counter really inaccurate—a comment that looks like it's +10 might be -15 when you look at it from lemmy.world....
Whenever you use this format...
A lot of artists, etc. are reluctant to leave corporate social media like Twitter, due to fears over the Fediverse (usually spread by other people, that think Fediverse = Gab + some cryprobros + maybe Pawoo), or not willing to understand it....
Hi all,...
I'd like to save useful comments and posts for giggles and knowledge. This feature exists in reddit and Lemmy....
Now that WordPress supports ActivityPub, anyone know of any good AP-enabled blogs worth following?
I know Ernest is working on getting ready to update kbin.social but are there any other instances which are faster with the bug fixes and updates?
I want fediverse iceberg, I think this will be help found out and understand about fediverse more, this can be useful for normies...
Blocking any domain by going to something like "kbin.social/d/reddit.com" and blocking it seems to remove posts at random. The pinned post for the planned October outage is no longer visible.
Not sure where to report this exactly but media.kbin.social has an expired Let's Encrypt certificate (expired Tue, 03 Oct 2023 14:47:25 GMT) and this is causing problems loading various images across the site -- e.g. user avatars (sometimes), images copied from various Lemmy instances, and image threads made on kbin....
Or a thread to lemmy. Basically, how long does "federation" take?...
kbin sounds a lot like kabin, or かびん/花瓶, which means vase in Japanese.
I went directly to https://noworriesto.day/ and I don't see any posts. Apologies if I missed some news or if I am just somehow not doing something correctly.
This update includes listing the user setting on the General tab.
I got this when trying to report https://kbin.social/m/RedditMigration/t/364640/Trendy-Reaction-Videos and also separately got the same when trying to report https://kbin.social/m/RedditMigration/t/364628/Home
Some thoughts about using the Microblog functionality in kbin and why, controversially, I think it might actually beat Mastodon at it's own game - browsing toots....
