Sadly, leftist moral panics are sometimes as sad and ridiculous as right-wingers' moral panics.
If you don't like Threads, don't use Threads. At best ignore posts that will eventually show up in your timeline if your host hasn't preemptively blocked Threads in a knee-jerk reaction, at worst, block it yourself.
