[support] Has anyone else been having trouble interacting with Lemmy off and on these past few days?

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’ve been experiencing quite a bit of sluggishness and errors (failure to post, failure to mark as read, failure to fetch comments, etc), my feed seems to get stuck for long periods of time without updating, and any time I try to open my profile view, it can take a full minute (it might be partially due to how many posts/comments I have). Sometimes it’s taking 5-10 attempts to successfully upload an image to post. Is there anything going on?

If it makes a difference, I’ve been on mobile and using Voyager.

Yep. On Voyager. Switch to Memmy, don’t use it for 12 hours, and it runs again. I now have both installed and switch back and forth. Voyager has a lot of little quirks that make it need to “rest” a lot. The one where it refuses to show any recent content, and only three-day-old stuff is the most annoying, in my opinion.

I was wondering if it was the Voyager app causing my pages to not turn over. I thought it might have been related to the sluggishness on our instance because it had been happening at the same time, but the admins fixed that already.

Have been able to load communities and content on Voyager since the last fix yesterday, but am still having issues with images in the main post, especially on c/risa.

On Voyager, I’m seeing just a little blue square in the middle of the box where the meme image should be. It’s not consistent though so it could be some kind of incompatibility with the upload and storage format.

The latest Lemmy update caused some weirdness with federation, it’s hard to pin down but we’re looking into it. Could be related to your issue.

Voyager is still not working this morning. Can upvote only very intermittently. I haven’t attempted to post or comment.

Logged in through a browser, I am not having upvote issues, but failed to post a comment on the first attempt.

All to say that Voyager is part of the problem, but not all.

The problem came back for me earlier today too. I tried switching to Boost and had similar issues.

I can confirm that you’re not the only one experiencing intermittent sluggishness, and we’re aware of the issue.

We still need to determine whether it’s a problem within our control, but we are aware.
