Hello. I will be taking fedia.io offline on Saturday, Feb 3 to rehome it to a different server. Since moving fedia.io to a container-based platform, federation has been very unreliable and slow. I'll be moving to a non-container-based/bare metal install, which should address the federation issues.
Damn has it been that long already? I saw the moment when it broke, it appeared to coincide with a network outage after a couple weeks of being reliable. It's got to be some kind of simple little bug so I even started looking at the code but didn't get anywhere yet.
When I look at https://fedia.io/all/newest right now there seems to be very little getting through today, with only 3 new threads in the past 10 hours....
The more I see of its sysop the more I like this place. Thanks for keeping it all running.
Whilst it's on my mind can you recommend a place to report general mbin bugs? It doesn't seem able to see m/baduk@lemmy.ml and a few others I've noticed. Neither was kbin until recently.
