There's literally no location indicator for the instances servers so I'm not sure how you expect me to do that. And smaller instances are more likely to get abandoned, go down and vanish.
I'm gonna ignore the arguing in this thread and focus on the main question, which imo the answer is to just ignore it. If the guy wants to waste his time downvoting you then let him waste his time. Those points are meaningless and have no effect on anything. So the worst you can do is waste your own time on him. Just block them and their accounts and go on with your life.
Is there some A / B testing going on? I still have Magazines in the top bar. Collections as far as I understood is simply a grouping of various communities & magazines that share the same related topics and I guess setting a collection as favorite will act like you subscribed to them (I haven't really used them before).
Yeah. The UI would be my key takeaway here. I just find Lemmy convoluted and confusing. Might be me just being too used to the old Reddit layout but I just like kbin more on that front.
Now I just need to find a convenient way to save this piece of code and copy-paste it whenever I need it 🤔
Honestly, I'd just suggest to add a button for it in the editor after the code one? I think it's a common enough thing to use to warrant it. For every other formatting maybe a little link for a pop up or expandable that shows the remaining formatting rules, similar to how it was on old.reddit.
No. That will burn your lungs like hell. You'll feel like actually suffocating. Nitrogen is an inert gas, so you won't even feel it, another one is helium. You'll pretty much lose consciousness after just a couple breaths and then fade away quietly. It's very commonly used in suicide bags and there's modern assisted suicide methods that use it too.
I think death penalties are barbaric and uncivilized, no matter what, but comparatively it's probably better than almost anything the US used historically.
