@ernest I really do appreciate everything you have done on Kbin! I love it and will bounce between the two until I have found my "home".
I know everything is new, so this was trying to spark as much of a "I don't know what I don't know" conversation because I think I might be using it wrong in the sens of the fediverse, rather than a threadiverse.
If there are features in waiting, then I will still be coming back to Kbin as my "favorite" of all the mediums, but I still think the microblog system is the best fediverse format. Even without a character limit. I just think the community concept only works if every activity pub instance also uses the same exact format. Instead of double posting and cross threading. But that's just me. I couldn't get the hang of Twitter or Reddit as a poster so that's why I always was a lurker.
That's exactly it, so I'll wait for that!
I wasn't a Twitter user ever, I just thing the format for the fediverse is the best method of delivering what the idea of it is. More of a filter, rather than a follower type of content collection, If that makes sense. I think its best to have everything and then weed it down to exactly what you like than to search for a shot in the dark.
No disrespect to what you've done for Kbin at all, this was to spark conversation on how others use it!
