This is very cool. Wordpress also has activitypub integration. I would love it if I could comment “directly” on blog posts with a Mastodon (or Lemmy!) account.
I set up a firefox shortcut for my instance with keyword “r” so that if I type “r+enter” I get startrek.website. Putting that unwanted muscle memory to good use.
That stikes me as an awfully cynical take, not everyone was around for the original release. And being alone, watching a compressed stereo stream at home is just not the same experience. I’m curious how you might celebrate the 40th anniversary differently?
Not that these sorts of things should be rushed but there are only four surviving Apollo astronauts that walked on the surface, and it would be really special if they could all witness it again.
