ptz, 2 months ago (edited 2 months ago) I always wondered why spacecraft couldn’t be wrapped in magnetic coils (with the pressurized volume like the center of a solenoid) to duplicate the effects of Earth’s magnetic field. Looks like it is possible but was not practical until recently. Good read!
