How does one embed a GIF so it shows in a comment without clicking any links?

Adding the GIF as a picture from the Image BROWSE got the GIF rolling.
That was my third attempt.
Didn't get it working for my first comment here though.

Would it be acceptable in kbin etiquette to add a tag in at least one thread in a magazine I created, and when talking about stuff in other places that touch the same topic, I use the same tag there as well to "promote" the existence of the magazine?

How do I add an image to a magazine so it's visible without clicking (image) links?

@jared I actually noticed that there was a graphical tab in the magazine settings where the image was added.
It was just in a different place than what I thought.

What are your thoughts on Microblogs vs threads? (kbin.social)

When I first joined Kbin I posted threads due to being a reddit refugee but have started posting microblogs as time went on. I have also noticed some magazines have more threads while others have more microblog posts. For example kbinmeta has more threads while the most active magazine I moderate has mostly microblogs.

Now since I think about it -
I did a few tweets years ago before I deleted my account but I've never read it much. Just a message here there - I never followed full conversations. (And nowadays I rather not go here anymore)

So I'm pretty much out of the loop with how Twitter works as well 😂

@Ernest has pushed an update which allows users to request ownership/moderation of abandoned magazines. Ghost/abandoned magazines were fairly prevalent after the initial wave of hype due to users either squatting magazine names or becoming inactive for other reasons. Now is your chance to get involved, if you were waiting to do...

I created a new magazine today 🙂

Yeah I am aware of slow growth.
My magazine takes lots of its material from a YouTube channel so at least for now their activity would go more or less hand in hand with mine/ours.
I'd be happy to receive even readers! Posting there isn't a necessity for me, for now at least.

The name of the magazine is the same than the YouTube channel's.

I added some tags to the magazine's description and into its settings.
Looking at/testing crossposting at some point.

So many magazines that were created by default as a result only have 1 moderator: Ernest.
While this is the case, anyone is free to post whatever the hell they want no matter how unrelated or low quality. This is what has prevented me from coming back daily.

@Squidcopter Can you look for a magazine where folks "behave"? Where they create content that actually follows the magazine's theme?
Yeah it can take resources to find one but if could be rewarding enough for ya to establish beginning conditions for you in here!

I started translating finnish language right away!

EDIT: 79 translations, 34 suggestions, 34 pending suggestions and 33 comments feels like heavy-duty for one session straight!
